This is the first blog I have EVER created. As a single parent who makes little money, has no influence whatsoever, and is trying to raise good kids in a hard world, you can bet I ALWAYS have something to say. My job here on this blog is not to tell anyone how to live their life. My job here is to let you know you are NOT alone. And to find out that I am not alone either. I will ask real questions and try to make you think. Someone needs to, it might as well be me! I am the daughter of a recovered drug addict, grandaughter of chain smoking alcholics, and the child of a man who verbally abused me till he died. I am the ex-wife of a man who lied, cheated, and stole from me before he left me for other women less capable and less intelligent. I am trying to finish college and make a difference. How do you make a difference with real people when you can't get anyone to listen to you? Why you make a blog! Ask me questions, ask my opinion, if I dont have an answer I will FIND one for you! I want to know what its like for you to go through life every day. What do you struggle with? What do you fear? What do you long for? What do you feel angry about? And what do you feel helpless to change. YOU the american people have so much more power than you think! We live in a culture that only cares about the entertainment value of things. When it has no more entertainment value,we move on. We are a society with no wonder, no fascination, low expectations, and an amazing ability to give up! What the hell happened? WE built one of the most powerful nations in the world and then left it to rich politicians who cheat on their wives, write hot checks, and lie to us to get MORE power as if they didnt have enough already! So lets show the world that there are still people out there who want more for themselves and for others to do their thinking for them. Got a question for me? Just want to vent? Curious about me?
